2011 Gus Dean and his Dean Racing Team have hit the ground running tackling the new super late models they now field out of their shop in Bluffton, Sc. The team made the trip to Florida for Speedweeks and Gus turned some heads down there running in the top 10 every night and even bringing home 2 top 5s in his first outing in the bigger, more powerful cars.He then move on to P.A.S.S Series & the Super Six Series where he racked up 9 top 5′s & 16 top 10′s winning rookie of the year in the Super Six Series.

2010  Gus competed in only 14 races in the Allison Legacy Series due to testing and preparing for his debut into the 2011 PASS Super Late Model Series. In those 14 races, Gus had 2 wins and 8 top five finishes, one of which came at the famed North Wilkesboro Speedway, making him the inaugural race champion in the Allison Legacy Series. He was also the first to ride the elevator to victory lane since Jeff Gordon did so in 1996.

2009  Voted Allison Legacy Series Most Improved Driver. Finished 10th in Allison Legacy Points Championship (Field of 42 Drivers). Broken knee/surgery/rehabilitation resulted in 6 missed races during season.

2008  Rookie year in Allison Legacy Series.
Finished 15th in Allison Legacy Points Championship (Field of 53 Drivers).  Unexpected death of Crew Chief Mark Howard.

2007
American Kart Racing Association Junior II National Champion.
Participated in first Allison Legacy race finishing 19th.
